
Rental Policy.
Please review the terms and conditions below prior to renting.
Pick-up time: Any time after 10am on the start date.
Return time: Any time before 7pm on the final date if multiple days.
Security Deposit: $100 per day for each rental unit deposit needs to be paid in advance to hold your reservation. The remaining balance is due on the first day of the rental before you sail off. A $1,000 refundable damage deposit is required prior to all rentals. A damage deposit will be held for any damages that may occur while the rental equipment is in the possession of the lessee. The deposit will be refunded upon the satisfactory return of the rental equipment.
Payment: Most credit cards are accepted. A 3.99% convenience fee will be charged with each credit card purchase.
Driver: Renters must be 21 years or older to rent all equipment and must have a valid driver’s license and a major credit card.
Fuel: The boat comes with a full tank of fuel, whatever you use you are responsible for. We take the time fill it back up as part of the check-in process and charge for the time and the top off. Or bring it back full.
Extra Cleaning Fee: Please respect our boats as you would your own, keeping things as neat and clean as possible. Regular cleaning is included in your rental rate. $50/hour extra cleaning fee may be applied. Examples of need for extra cleaning are: excessive sand, suntan lotion on upholstery (towels can be provided free of cost to avoid lotions, if requested), excessive food crumbs, mud or excess sand from shoes or anchors, fishing debris.
Damage Deposit: You are responsible for any damage done to the boat during your rental time. The most common damage is the prop. A $1,000 damage deposit will be held for any damages that may occur while the rental equipment is in the possession of the lessee. Renter assumes all risks and will be responsible for 100% of all costs and expense of any character, arising from the use, possession or maintenance of said equipment. You are responsible for any damages to prop, boat or motor, lost vests, cushions, anchors and any other LLR property.
Cancellation Policy: A 30-day written cancellation is required. If a 30-day written notice is issued, a $150 cancellation fee will be applied. If canceling your reservation within 30 days of your reservation date your security deposit will not be returned.
Safety Equipment: We provide all the safety equipment for the boat. This includes life jackets (to the capacity of what boat you rented accommodates), a fire extinguisher, and a throwable. Feel free to bring your own life jackets if you wish.
Pet Policy: No pets are allowed out of respect for customers with allergies and to avoid extra cleaning costs. If pet hair is present in a boat, this requires deep cleaning. We can easily see pet hair as it gets into every crack and crevice that we normally do a light clean on during regular post-rental cleaning. It is a lengthy, laborious cleaning process to do a pet cleaning. The fee if pet hair is present at the end of your rental is a minimum $300 cleaning fee. Depending on the lengthiness of the cleaning procedure, a $50/hr fee may be applied on top of the minimum $300 amount.
Weather Policy: Keep in mind when making your reservations that weather does not always cooperate. If it’s not an ideal day for boating (overcast, drizzle, spotty showers, cooler temps, windy, partial day thunderstorms with clearing for half the day or more) but i considered safe boating conditions this is the day you chose knowing this would be the case and your reservation will continue to be confirmed for that day. For days that are not safe for boating for over half ot he day, credit will be considered (if dates available for both parties) for a different weekday rental at a later date.
Notes: We provide anchors. There are no multi-day discounts on holiday weekends. This includes May 22 - 29, June 26 - July 10 and August 28 - September 4.
